I can't wait to show you the drawings that have been produced in each group! They are looking fantastic! Some students didn't have enough time to finish cutting out their picture, so I will finish those & then glue each groups picture onto a butcher piece of paper. They will then see them hanging up & be able to try and find themselves, their friends, & me in each group.
If you have any free time this week and want to get a service hour or two in, I'd love to have your help with cutting & gluing. Are you ready for a great year in art?? I'm so excited about new lessons we are going to create & all the art we are bringing to the school! It's going to be awesome!! I can't wait to see the kids again & get to know our new families! Our first class together will be spent going around the art room, seeing what's new, reviewing the expectations, and creating a drawing of ourselves. I will be creating a "Where's Waldo?" type mural with the artwork and hanging it in the hallways! Looking forward to a wonderful year with the FABB-ily! |
